SHIRAH IN HEBREW MEANS "SONG".
Shirah is a passionate film composer who believes music is more than just something you hear—it's something you see. An immersive journey.
At Virtual Music Reality, she blends orchestral elements with synths to create genre-defying compositions that bring film and narrative to life.

Growing up, Shirah was inspired by legendary film composers like John Powell, Hans Zimmer, and her personal favorite, John Williams. She especially admired how film music could transport you - not just to a moment in the movie, but also to the moments you experienced while watching it. It’s a unique form of nostalgia, connecting you to both the story and your own memories.

During her early Piano lessons, Shirah often strayed from the assigned pieces, choosing instead to experiment and create her own. After exploring fields such as interior design, studio art, and business, she realized that film scoring was her true passion—where she could merge her love for storytelling, deep emotions, and music into a cohesive art form.

Shirah finds endless inspiration in the world around her. Whether she's exploring a new place, losing herself in a book, or discussing the subtleties of a film's score, each note she composes reflects a piece her life. Shirah launched a project on her social media called "Music in Moments" celebrating the idea that every moment has its own unique soundtrack.

A graduate of Berklee College of Music with a degree in Music Composition for Film, TV, and Games, Shirah continues to show the world that there is music in every moment and a moment for every piece of music. Just listen and you will see.
